Kalooki (also spelled as either Kalooki or Kalookie) is a Rummy game that uses wild cards, Jokers, to add to the excitement of playing rummy online. The use of Jokers adds to the fun of the rummy game, providing you with lots more opportunities to form melds than does the use of regular decks of cards. In this Rummy game your meld must reach a total count of 51 or more before you are allowed to lay down melds for the first time. You are able to pick up a card from the discard pile only after you have laid down one or more melds. There are two ways to win at online Kalooki 51; you win if you are the first player to dispose of all of the cards in your hand at once ("Going Kalooki"), or if you are the first player to dispose of all of your cards in your hand in stages. Melding in this fashion is called "Going Out".
